Bin-Aid ® - Anti-Bridging Agent for Urea Feeds
Is an anti-bridging agent for pelleted feeds containing urea or high levels of molasses. Bin-Aid is added prior to pelleting in the mixer. Bin-Aid liquefies during pelleting, reduces friction heat at the die and coats the pellets making them less sticky. Reduces bridging and improves the flow ability of urea feeds from holding bins and bulk trucks. Use 2 to 3 lb per ton (1 to 1.5 kg per tonne).
Molastik ® - Molasses Binding Agent
Is a pellet binding agent designed especially for feeds containing at least 3% molasses. Molastik firms up the molasses causing it to bind the feed ingredients into harder, more durable range blocks, cubes or pellets. Molastik also increases the water resistance of feed and preserves pellets in bagged feed in humid conditions. Using 3 lb (1.5 kg) of Molastik with 4-5% molasses provides superior binding.
Pel-Aid ® - Gelatin Binder and Lubricant
Is a low-inclusion gelatin binder and lubricating agent. The heat and moisture in the pellet mill liquefies Pel-Aid and allows more steam to be added in the conditioning chamber. Pel-Aid is a great binding agent for in pet food treats, pet food, high grain, dairy and rabbit feeds. Using 1 to 2 lb per ton (0.5 to 1 kg per tonne) will increase throughput and binding.
Pro-Bind ™ - Porcine Gelatin Binder
Is a porcine gelatin binder used in horse feeds, pet treats and feeds. Pro-Bind is a powerful adhesive that liquefies in the conditioning chamber. It is a high quality protein and gelatin source. Use 2- 10 lbs per ton (1 kg to 4 kg per tonne).
Super-Bind ® - All Purpose Lignin Sulfonate Binder
Is a powerful all-purpose, mid-inclusion modified lignin sulfonate pellet binder that improves pellet quality. Super-Bind works on all feed types with a use rate of 10 to 25 lb per ton (5 kg to 12.5 kg per tonne). When replacing high-inclusion lignin sulfonate, use a ratio of approximately 1 lb (.5 kg) to every 2 lb (1 kg) of full-strength lignin. When replacing medium inclusion binders, replace at equal use rates. Super-Bind is available in powder or liquid form.
Super-Bind Liquid ® - Liquid Lignin Sulfonate binding agent
Super-Bind Liquid is a low cost; all purpose liquid lignin sulfonate pellet binder designed to improve pellet quality in animal feeds and dried distillers grains. It also has applications in fertilizer agglomeration, dust suppressants, by product pelleting and concrete admixtures.
Super-Bind Liquid ensures maximum distribution on the surface of the ingredients and imparts a strong adhesive bond upon drying. Use 20-80 lbs per ton.
Super-Lube ® - Lubricant for Hard To Pellet Feeds
Is a lubricant designed for use in hard to pellet feeds such as pig starters, high mineral rations, high fiber, high urea and high molasses feeds. It lubricates without destroying pellet quality, unlike fat or oil and increases production rates reducing energy costs. A use level of 2 to 4 lb of Super-Lube per ton (1 to 2 kg per tonne) will equal 18 to 20 lb per ton (9 to 10 kg per tonne) of fat in lubrication. Super-Lube also works in extruded feeds to reduce extruder amperage.
Uni-Bond ® - All Purpose Urea Formaldehyde Binder
Is a low-inclusion urea formaldehyde condensation polymer, which provides binding and weatherproofing. Uni-Bond is used in wild game feeds, premix pellets in textured feeds, calf creep feeds, range cubes and pressed blocks where improved weatherproofing is desired. Uni-Bond is also used as an anti-bridging agent in urea feeds. Use 1 to 3 lb per ton (0.5 to 1.5 kg per tonne); if currently using a urea formaldehyde binder, replace at equal economic rates.
Uniscope Starch Binder™ - Modified Food Starch Binder
Is a nutritional, natural, all-purpose pellet binder. It is especially suited for micro system metering devices, as it is not hygroscopic, will not bridge or lump and it is free flowing. Uniscope Starch Binder instantly solubilizes in hot water, forming a high tack adhesive which holds feedstuffs together and it is also fast setting. Use 5 to 10 lb per ton (2.5 to 4.5 to kg per tonne).
Xtra-Dry® - Water Repellant Agent for Free Choice Minerals and Hygroscopic Ingredients
Is a free flowing powder which is added to dry blended feed minerals at the mixing stage. Xtra-Dry protects loose minerals from the weather and prevents them from leaching, hardening and caking. Use 10 to 20 lb per ton (5 to 10 kg per tonne) of finished loose mineral mix. In addition, Xtra-Dry has benefits in any hygroscopic premix or bulk ingredients (urea, salt, choline chloride, ammonium sulfate...). Xtra-Dry coats the ingredients and reduces sticking, clumping and bridging.
